A Beatles reunion is scheduled Aug. 27 at the Hollywood Bowl.Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr will perform with digital images of the late John Lennon and George Harrison, plus supplemental live musicians, for the closest thing to a Beatles concert since 1966. Much like Elvis In Concert with James Burton, Glen D. Hardin, Jerry Scheff & Ronnie Tutt have been doing for many years now. The concert will reportedly be a benefit for world peace and breast cancer charities. No announcements have been made about ticket prices. No confirmation was forthcoming from McCartney, Starr or Apple Records. The Beatles performed two legendary concert dates at the Hollywood Bowl in 1965 and 1966.
