In Thompson's new memoir, A Little Thing Called Life, excerpted exclusively in this week's issue of PEOPLE, the actress and songwriter reveals that Presley's then-9-year-old daughter, Lisa Marie, was the one who told her of the singer's death, just eight months after their breakup. I was told the reason is, they would have to pay licensing fees to Joel to use Elvis' image. Judging by the photos above, it looks like that rumor is sadly true. Not ONE photo of the King of Rock n Roll in the hotel lobby or the rooms. The photos on the wall in the rooms are artwork of jumpsuits, HEADLESS Elvisish figures. Let's hope the fans speak up and this changes. Elvis needs a presence at the hotel. We have to stop allowing him to become a Mickey Mouse or Santa Claus character. The National Enquirer claims the 48-year-old has entered rehab and is seeking treatment for drug and alcohol addiction at a Los Angeles facility. A source told the Enquirer that Lisa Marie has spent $400,000 on a 'private detox team'. The insider alleged: 'Lisa Marie just fell off the wagon over the past couple of years and needed serious help in getting her life back on track again.' Lisa is allegedly receiving visits from her mother Priscilla every day, and the source said she 'has the full support of her friends and family.' Sal Governale performs Elvis Presley's The Wonder of You during a prostate exam for a bit on the Howard Stern Show called Prostate Karaoke. Howard says, "Thank God Elvis isn't alive to hear this!" His song choice was "The Wonder of You" by Elvis Presley, a song he once danced with his mother to at his wedding. He managed to keep singing throughout his exam and got rave reviews afterwards from Dr. Fisch. "He's got a great prostate," Dr. Fisch said of Sal, adding that his prostate was only 19 grams.
