This was posted on August 2, 2016. One fan suggested to me that the fans create their own human chain and STOP THIS! I was understanding to the frustration of the Memphians but this....changes things for me. This is just T-R-O-U-B-L-E! Elvis loved Memphis so much. He would be heartbroken by this. Be Alert, be safe! Fans and tourists should not have this fear on vacation! You can't expect tourists to come from around the world and spend MILLIONS of dollars yet be in fear. Memphis is cutting off it's nose to spite it's face! Leave Elvis outta this! He loved Memphis! Although born in Tupelo, he considered Memphis HOME. He could have moved to Hollywood but he stayed in Memphis because he loved Memphis! This would truly break his heart.
