Rihanna sets UK chart record

R&B singer Rihanna took the British pop music charts by storm this week with a number one single, album and two other songs in the charts. And the Official Charts Company has confirmed the Barbadian singer is the first female solo artist in UK chart history to achieve five number one singles in consecutive years with What's My Name. The only other solo artist to equal this achievement was Elvis Presley in the 1950s, the charts company said. Rihanna, 22, knocked X Factor champion Matt Cardle's When We Collide from the top spot on the singles chart to number two. Her album, Loud, held its number one slot, beating off competition from British rapper Plan B's The Defamation Of Strickland Banks.

Chilean miner tours Elvis birthplace, hardware store

Edison Pena, one of the rescued Chilean miners and a self-described “Elvis fanatic,” visited Tupelo today for a tour of Presley attractions.Pena's first stop was the birthplace. After his tour there, Elvis Presley Memorial Foundation Chairman Henry Dodge asked Peña what he thought about it. Via his interpreter, Peña said, “Very emotional. I could feel him.”Pena also was scheduled to dine at Vanelli's and stop by Tupelo Hardware, where Elvis got his first guitar.

Lisa Marie Presley & Her Twins In LA

Lisa Marie Presley made a rare public outing with her twin daughters Friday. Looking more and more like her father Elvis, Lisa Marie was with her husband Michael Lockwood. LMP (as fans call her) and Michael each carried one of their daughters, Harper and Finley, as they arrived in Los Angeles. Lockwood is Presley's fourth husband.  She and Michael will celebrate their fifth anniversary later this month.  Their adorable twins are two.
