MEMPHIS, TN - (WMC-TV) - Moments after an elderly couple was carjacked in the parking lot of Bally's Casino in Tunica, the suspect was spotted by a Walls, Mississippi officer. The pursuit went from Mississippi to Memphis and was all caught on camera. Suspect Yarley Lyons went to great lengths to avoid arrest. The wild pursuit was all caught on the dashboard camera of the Walls Police Chief Gary Boisseau. "Our police chief, Gary Boisseau, was listening on the radio and intercepted the vehicle which came through the town of Walls," said Walls prosecutor Stan Little. Little walked Action News 5 through the chase from the moment Boisseau caught up with Lyons' stolen car on Highway 61. At one point, the champagne-colored Bonneville pulled over.
