Aretha Franklin was interviewed by The Today Show's Al Roker this morning. She told Al how she will remember Whitney. " She had this little twinkle in her eye. She didn't just smile with her lips. She had this little twinkle in her eye. Something happened and I wrote a little something with that in mind. And that was, twinkle twinkle superstar we don't wonder where you are. Up above the world so bright, like a diamond in the night. Twinkle, twinkle she stood alone. I can't believe that she's gone."

The song speaks for itself, and Miss Cissy's tears just rip your heart open. She saw her amazing daughter come out of a toxic and controlling relationship to gain strength and work on her comeback. I wish for Whitney, Miss Cissy, and Bobby Kristina, that the media would stop guessing why Whitney's hair was wet after performing for 3 hours, why Whitney came in to say hello to Clive Davis after swimming with supposed "mismatched" clothes, and just wait until the officials tell us what happened. Let this family grieve. Bobby Kristina is an 18 year old girl who just lost her mom who was larger than life but also her best friend and her mom! Let's give this kid a break!

Geraldo Rivera talked about the death of Whitney Houston & her ex husband on his Fox News show Sunday night, "I am very harsh on my feelings on (Bobby Brown). I think that he threw (Whitney) off a cliff when they got together. That reality show they had, Being Bobby Brown, indicated how desperately dysfunctional they were." Rivera also comments on Whitney Houston & Bobby Brown's daughter saying, " She doesn't need her dad especially if unsupervised he'll probably give her something to make her feel better so she doesn't grieve . It's so awful. I hate to be mean but I really don't think very much of him at all. Bobby Brown was a member of New Edition and hasn't done anything Since but live off Whitney Houston 's millions."

Brown released a statement to Extra regarding the situation. "Today my daughter did visit with doctors at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. She has been released and is presently with my family, including her siblings," he said."Obviously the death of her mother is affecting her, however, we will get through this tragedy as a family. Again, I ask for privacy during this time."

Paul McCartney was one among the first winners at the 2012 Grammy Awards Sunday in Los Angeles, snagging the Best Historical Album honor during the pre-Grammy telecast. McCartney won as a compilation producer for the deluxe Paul McCartney Archive Collection edition of his former band Wings’ classic 1973 album, ‘Band On The Run.’ McCartney shared the honor with mastering engineers Sam Okell and Steve Rooke.
