By The Commercial Appeal Graceland will hold a job fair to help find 125 to 150 workers for its new 450-room hotel. Guesthouse at Graceland has scheduled a job fair and workshop Saturday and Monday open to the public. In a statement today, the Memphis tourist attraction said positions it is filling include accounting, front office, housekeeping, engineering, culinary, restaurant and banquet jobs. Applications made online at www.besthotelcareers.com by the end of the day Thursday will receive a scheduled interview time at the job fair and workshop and not have to wait in line. The sessions are scheduled 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days. Graceland said computer terminals will be available on the site to apply online. The sessions will take place at the Elvis Week Main Event Tent, located behind the Lisa Marie airplane attraction. Black Lives Matter protesters gathered near Graceland for more than two hours, Tuesday afternoon. Early in the demonstration, some protesters sat in the street to block traffic, and they were detained.
