Mary Ann Mobley and Gary Collins We are very sad to hear of the passing of Gary Collins . Most Elvis Presley fans will know him best for being married to Mary Ann Mobley ( who co-starred with EP in Harum Scarum ). But Collins was an actor himself. And best known to all of us for different highlights in his career. For me, it was Hour Magazine .   Mobley and Collins had separated in 2011 but reconciled and he had moved to Mississippi to be with Mary Ann earlier this year. The couple had 1 daughter together, Mary Clancy Collins . Gary also had two children with his first wife, Susan Peterson, Gary William and Melissa. Gary Collins passed away of natural causes about 1 a.m. on October 13, 2012, at Biloxi Regional Medical Center. Our deepest condolences go out to Ms. Mobley and family. You're in our thoughts and prayers.

It's been rough going for Gary Collins ... TMZ has learned the former Miss America/"Hour Magazine" host has been arrested for allegedly defrauding an innkeeper. Collins -- who has been arrested 3 times and convicted twice of DUI -- was busted in Biloxi, Mississippi Tuesday at 10:39 PM.  According to employees at the restaurant, they told him as he left he had to pay his bill, but Collins ignored them.  The employees even followed him out to the parking lot ... in vain. Collins allegedly ordered food at Jazzeppi's Restaurant and left without paying his $59.35 bill.  Get this ... refusing to pay a restaurant bill for anything over $25 in Ole Miss is a FELONY! After 43 years of marriage, Mary Ann Mobley and Gary Collins call it quits. The couple filed for legal seperation earlier this month and records show that they have been living apart since October 1, 2010. Mobley's rep tells TMZ , Maryann is miserable about the whole situation. Maryann Mobley, former Miss America 1959 and best known to Elvis fans as the king's co-star in Harum Scarum & Girl Happy , is battling stage 3 breast cancer and is undergoing chemo and radiation at this time. Gary is extremely depressed about his wife's illness and they both need the break. Gary has had his own battles, he was arrested 3 times and convicted twice for DUI. Gary Collins (husband to Elvis co-star Mary Ann Mobley in the film Harum Scarum) is in a heap of T-R-O-U-B-L-E -- there's a warrant out for his arrest in the wake of his latest vehicular misstep in Mississippi ... and prosecutors are now gunning to revoke his probation. On November 4, Collins was supposed to show up in court in L.A. for a probation progress report in connection with his 2007 DUI.  According to court records -- he failed to appear, so the judge issued a $100,000 arrest warrant. Ironically, had Collins shown up in court on November 4 for his progress report, the L.A. judge would have terminated his probation. Collins is a 2-time DUI offender.  As for his most recent run-in with the law, one of the passengers in the car he allegedly hit in Mississippi says he smelled alcohol on Collins' breath, however, cops only charged him with hit and run.  That case is pending. An arrest warrant has been issued in Jackson, Miss for a hit and run with another car last night involving a woman and her child. Gary left the scene after he was told the cops were on their way. A witness says Collins was clearly intoxicated. This will be Gary's third DUI offense. One accident in 2007 lead to the death of the other driver. And his last DUI was while driving a mobile home with a blood alcohol level of .29. Gary Collins is best known as the host of Hour Magazine and the Miss America pageant. Mary Ann Mobley, former Miss America in 1959, co-starred with Elvis in the 1965 film, Harum Scarum. Mary Ann is currently in remission from stage 3 Cancer. The couple has been married since 1967.
