Sonny Burgess of The Legendary Pacers passed away - Funeral Arrangements set for Thursday
Legendary Sun Records artist, Sonny Burgess passed away on the evening of Friday, August 18. Sonny had been in the hospital since late July after taking a fall at his home in Little Rock, Arkansas. His last gig was on July 15th, 2017. Sonny was the leader of The Pacers for over 62 years. The band says they will keep rockin in his honor. Long Live Rock N Roll! Please keep his family, band mates, and friends in your thoughts and prayers! Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the Silver Moon in Newport.
