Lisa Marie Presley selling her English estate after husband ripped her off!

Image
Lisa Marie Presley's English Estate Yes, that's right, LISA MARIE PRESLEY's English estate! Her money paid for it. Let's not be ridiculous here! Why would Lisa keep this? She moved away a few years ago! And now that she has discovered that her alleged compulsive spending husband was buying everything under the sun for himself and hiding it all in storage lockers....rightly so she would sell! “Michael Lockwood left her in a bad way both financially and emotionally and she can’t wait to unload the place!” a source close to the former couple exclusively told The National ENQUIRER. “Michael ripped her off for millions!” the source spilled. “Now she needs cash fast to get out of the hole he dug for her!” Another source reported that he was buying expensive gifts for himself, like guitars and electronics, and charging her accounts! “She discovered that he ran up a $109,000 Amex bill when she got sued!” an insider revealed. Now, Presley is so despera

Lisa Marie Presley's Estranged husband Michael Lockwood to seek FULL custody of their twins

Image
According to Radaronline  insiders, Presley’s estranged fourth husband, Michael Lockwood, will seek full custody of Elvis‘ 7-year-old granddaughters Harper and Finley. “At Lisa’s request, child protective services was brought in to monitor the situation right after she and Michael split,” a family insider told Radar. “Now she regrets that decision because the social worker put her under a microscope and based on a negative evaluation, Lisa was sent to rehab.” As Radar reported, just weeks after Presley, 48, filed for divorce in June, she checked into The Hills Treatment Center in Los Angeles to beat addictions to alcohol, painkillers and other drugs. “Michael is now lawyering up to get full custody of their girls,” said the insider. “Even if Lisa Marie gets clean, Michael will argue that she’s often a disinterested and absentee parent.” When the couple was living in Franklin, Tenn. , Lockwood took on most of the parenting duties while Presley was distant, sai

Elvis Presley smoked Pot, According to Linda Thompson

Image
Linda Thompson says in 1974, one of Elvis' doctors suggested marijuana to relieve Elvis' eye pressure from secondary Glaucoma, which he'd been diagnosed with sometime before the couple met.  Linda says there was no such thing as legal pot back then. She says that's all Elvis had to hear was that a doctor recommended it and Elvis was all in! Linda says it wasn't the first time Elvis used pot, but this time he wanted to use it with her. He had his own sources for it. She told Elvis, "yeah but it's not legal, honey." Elvis said, "I know that, but if it keeps me from going blind" She recalls one night in "OUR" bedroom at Graceland, Elvis tried to get her to take a hit. She had no interest. She was straight. Elvis was persuasive. "It's just relaxing. It will just relax you." Elvis said. Hurting from his cheating, after 45 minutes she caved in. The temptation wore her down. She was hoping it would

Linda Thompson recalls a TEMP at Graceland taking advantage of Elvis while he was unconscious

Image
In 1976, Linda Thompson recalls one night at Graceland, waking up and Elvis wasn't in bed. She says, "Knowing he was under the strong influence of his sleeping medication, I was immediately concerned, and so I went on a search and rescue mission. Finally, I peeked my head into Lisa's room, she wasn't staying with us at the time. But there he was lying on a daybed. He was sprawled across the sofa, completely out of it, with his pajamas fly open while a Graceland temp kissed him. I could see the back of his head moving but it looked like he was asleep, or barely clinging to the edge of consciousness." Linda cleared her throat and the girl jumped, falling to the floor. Linda says the girl said it wasn't what it looked like. While Elvis struggled to open his eyes enough to look up and focus on her. She recalls Elvis said, "You should have knocked". Linda said, "Should've knocked? I live here. I shouldn't have to knock. O

Sammy Davis Jr. Recommended Elvis Presley for In The Ghetto says Linda Thompson

Image
In her new book, A Little Thing Called Life, Linda Thompson talks about Elvis' legendary song, In The Ghetto. She says Elvis shared this deeply personal story about his beloved song. Linda says, "As Elvis told me, when his good friend Sammy Davis Jr. was given that song by it's writer, Mac Davis, Sammy turned it down," Linda says Elvis told her Sammy couldn't do it because he never lived that lifestyle. She says Sammy is to have said, "But I'll tell you who did. Elvis Presley." So Mac Davis gave the song to Elvis. Sammy went on to cover it says Linda. She says. "But the definitive version was recorded by Elvis who could sing it with such authority and feeling because he had lived in the ghetto. He'd experienced first hand the desperation and injustice of that kind of life. Anyone who knows the song only has to think of the recurring line,"And his Mama cried," to be reminded of the powerful love he ha

Linda Thompson shares Presley family secret - Elvis' beloved Mama, Gladys was illiterate!

Image
Linda Thompson reveals a PRESLEY family secret in her new book, A Little Thing Called life. Linda says Elvis confided in her that his beloved Mama, Gladys Presley could not read or write. Gladys was illiterate, according to Elvis' one time girlfriend. Linda says, "Elvis told me his mother could not read or write, and that when people asked her for her autograph after he became famous, she could have only signed with an X, but she didn't want to do that." Linda said Gladys would just slip off in a back room to cover for herself. Once out of sight, she had someone write her name for her. From:Elvisinfonet BIM: This is something I never heard before. And honestly, I'm not sure I needed to know this. Look, EVERY family has secrets. And LOYAL families keep those secrets in the family. Elvis loved his Mama more than himself. I seriously doubt he would want us to know this. I think this would hurt him very much. And honestly, this isn'

Linda Thompson recalls the first candle light vigil for Elvis Presley

Image
In A Little Thing Called Love, Linda Thompson talks about the very first candle light vigil for Elvis. Linda recalls, shortly after the news of Elvis' death and as she began to pack, her power went off. After hearing the news of Elvis' death, her neighbor popped over to check on Linda. Linda asked if the neighbors power was off and it wasn't off. Linda lit candles so she could see as she tried to pack for Elvis' funeral. Linda recalls a few friends coming by, including her work out buddy, Deborah. "Oh how sweet, you're lighting candles for Elvis." Deborah said. Linda said, "Well, not really. I have to see to get ready to fly out of here, and there's no power in my apartment." Linda says it was down right eerie! And as the night wore on, the power remained off without an explanation. Linda says, "I began to consider all the candles for Elvis after all. It was THE first candle light vigil,  a tradition his fans hav

Linda Thompson recalls Elvis reading from the Bible and urinating in a glass at Don Rickles show

Image
In her new book, A Little Thing Called Life, Linda Thompson talks about the time they went to see Don Rickles in Vegas. Linda says Elvis was under the influence of one of his substances that evening. When Rickles introduced Elvis, he went on stage with Don. Linda recalls that Don was taken back but honored until Elvis began, as Linda remembers it, reading from the Bible. She goes on to say Elvis droned on and on for minutes, reading from Corinthians 13 until finally everyone had enough. "Elvis, are we going anywhere with this?" Don finally burst out. "Or are we just jerking off up here?" Needless to say, that comment broke the reverential tone, and cracked the audience up. Linda recalls. "Naw, man I-I-I," Elvis stuttered. "I just wanted to share a little bible wisdom with you all." Elvis leaves the stage to thunderous applause. Linda then recalls what happened when they returned to their seats to watch the rest of Don

Bremer Trust, which is administering Prince’s contested estate has entered into an agreement with a subsidiary of Graceland Holdings, LLC, for the "development, management, and oversight of all aspects of the museum at Paisley Park," according to the proposal. Graceland Holdings, which manages Elvis Presley’s home, Graceland, will also provide initial financing for the museum. THE MUSEUM EXPECTS UP TO 2,000 DAILY VISITORS! Prince’s legendary home and recording studio complex in Chanhassen, Minnesota, will likely open to public tours beginni

Linda Thompson inspired Elvis Presley to record The Pointer Sisters' Fairytale

Image
Linda Thompson says in 1976, the painful realization that was growing in her for more than a year finally arrived. In her new book, A Little thing Called Love, she says her Fairy Tale was ending. Linda encouraged Elvis Presley to perform and record The Pointer Sisters' song, Fairy Tale in 1975 because as Linda puts it, "It perfectly captured my disillusionment." "Fairytale" I'll pack up all my things and walk away, I don't want to hear another word you have to say I've been waiting for so long I just found out there's something wrong And there's nothing what get better if I stay There's no need to explain anymore I tried my best to love you, now I'm walking out the door You used me, you deceived me, And you never seemed to need me But I'll bet you won't forget me when I go Seems I've been lost in a dream Pretending that you care But now I've opened up my eyes And found it's all been j

Linda Thompson talks about Elvis' Sedation Diet

Image
In March of 1975, Elvis begins a two week engagement in Las Vegas. Linda Thompson recalls Elvis was battling his weight. In her new book, A Little Thing Called Life, she recalls that one of Elvis' Vegas doctors decided to try a radical diet plan. Elvis and Linda left the suite on the Vegas strip to go stay at the doctor's private home. Upon their arrival, Elvis put on his pajamas and jumped into bed. Linda recalls, "Let's just put you to sleep now. The Doctor said, giving Elvis a shot." Linda says she thought What? as she tried to fathom what was unfolding around her. "Elvis had told me that his doctor was putting him on a special diet, but this was way beyond anything I'd expected. For the next two weeks, the doctor had Elvis under NEAR CONSTANT SEDATION." "During this time, Elvis was in bed sleeping except for a few brief periods each day when he woke up long enough to go to the bathroom and eat a small portion of food. Then h

Linda Thompson on the infamous book, Elvis, What Happened?

Image
In Linda Thompson's new book, A Little Thing Called Life, she talks about that infamous book that many fans feel killed Elvis. Or broke his heart, that is. Whichever, it was for sure the Ultimate betrayal! Here's Linda's take on the book, Elvis, What Happened?  written by 3 former bodyguards Elvis fired. "After Elvis unceremoniously fired his longtime bodyguards, they decided it might be time to write what some describe as a vengeful book containing information on Elvis' drug use, which they KNEW he wouldn't want them to talk about publicly." says Linda She continues by saying, " They've since said they published a tell-all because they thought it would help him. And maybe that's the truth." "Maybe they hoped it would encourage him to realize how out of control he'd gotten and inspire him to take care of himself and stop his self destructive behavior." says Linda "Instead knowledge that the book was i

Lisa Marie Presley meets Linda Thompson for the first time

Image
Elvis finished his engagement in Las Vegas. Elvis and Linda travel to Elvis' Holmby Hills home in California to visit with Elvis' four and a half year old daughter, Lisa Marie. The couple are once again sun bathing by the pool when Lisa arrives at the house. Elvis goes and brings Lisa poolside. "This is Daddy's new girlfriend, Linda. She is from Memphis." Elvis tells Lisa. Lisa staying close to Daddy's leg says, " Hi" Linda says, "Hey, I've heard a lot about you. Your Daddy told me so many nice things about you. I'm really happy to meet you." Lisa plays around the pool under the careful eye of Elvis. The couple stretches out on the lounge chairs. Linda's long hair hangs over the chair and Lisa begins to play with Linda's hair. Finally Lisa says, "Excuse me Linda." Linda says, "What, honey?" Lisa asks, " Do you mind if I brush your hair?" "No, that would be great.&q

Elvis Presley Enterprises to manage Prince's Paisley Park Tours

Image
Prince's home is now the domain of the King -- as in Elvis Presley's people running tours at Paisley Park. The bank that manages Prince's estate -- Bremer Trust -- just announced the deal that puts the people who run Graceland in charge of public tours, which are set to begin in October. Prince's sister, Tyka Nelson, is reportedly on board with the Elvis plan, but sources close to the heirs tell TMZ not everyone in the family agrees. We're told the dissenting family members objected, in part, because Graceland Holdings has previously had financial problems. As it stands, team Elvis would get 50% of revenue generated by Paisley Park tours. We're told Bremer's currently negotiating with the family in hopes of getting everyone on board, but that's more for PR purposes. Fact is, the tours are going to happen ... but it seems the bank just wants to make sure Prince family members don't publicly bad mouth the deal.

Elvis Presley to Linda Thompson - We fooled around and fell in love

Image
It's the summer of '72,  Elvis and Linda are sun tanning high above the Las Vegas strip on the balcony of Elvis' suite. Elvis squeezes her hand and says, " You know what we've done, don't you?" Linda asks, "What?" Elvis replies, " We fooled around and fell in love." Mercy! Can you imagine? Right away this 1976 song kept playing in my head ALL DAY! 22 years old, high above the Vegas strip with the king of Rock N Roll holding your hand.... and he is saying this to you. Can you picture it? Elvis was SMOOTH! Linda continues by asking Elvis, "We have? " Elvis responses, " Well, at Least I have." I related this song to the story and was disappointed to find out the song by Elvin Bishop wasn't released til 1976. "Fooled Around and Fell in Love" is a single written and performed by blues guitarist Elvin Bishop. It appeared on his 1975 album Struttin' My Stuff and was release

Memphis Police Officer on the Protest @ Graceland last night

Image
Written by MPD officer James Schmedes about the protest tonight at Graceland. "So there we were, about a block south of Graceland. The call had come down for the riot team to move into position, the protesters were getting out of hand. So we dressed in as the rain began to fall and got into position. The line looked like some kind of modern day Roman legion with armor of plastic and Kevlar instead of leather and bronze. Hickory sticks and pistols took the place of sword and spear. We stood there waiting for the order to move up. Ready to go and feeling that anticipation before the action, time seemed to stand still for a moment when lightning cracked across the sky above us. Imagine, just at the second when things are going to get hairy four things happen at once. Lightning flashes. From behind us Elvis starts singing " Are You Lonesome Tonight". The rain comes down by the bucket and everyone is drenched instantly. The crowd disperses. So I ask you, did

Elvis Presley - January 8, 1935 - August 16, 1977

"Cooler heads may not prevail on Monday" says Memphis Protester

"Press conference tomorrow. He going to do a press conference tomorrow," Keedran Franklin yelled.   "He hurt. Y'all can't see he hurt?"  Supporters stood between reporters and Frank Gibson as WREG tried to ask him questions Saturday. Gibson, who is best known as Frank Gottie, was released from jail.   "He came over here while I was at my sister's wake and stole my battery out my vehicle, put my tires on flat," Xaviera Crawford said.  Gottie is accused of knocking his ex-girlfriend down and resisting arrest. He told WREG the allegations against him never happened. "They said something about a battery. Come on, man. Why would I even be on the scene if I stole something? Come on man. That don't make sense," Gottie told WREG over the phone from inside of 201 Poplar. Police said Gottie was out of control, refused to give his name and would not give in to commands. "Check on Gottie. Memphis vows to protect Protesters & fans during Operation Blue Suede Shoes Protest @ Graceland Monday

Image
Memphis officials released a vague statement Sunday that promised to protect the rights of "protesters, patrons and property owners " if a planned protest at Graceland Monday night goes forward. Protesters, in turn, were equally vague about exactly what they have planned for the annual candlelight vigil attended by thousands of Elvis fans from around the world. "We will protect the rights of the protesters, visitors, patrons, property owners and residents. We will expect the conduct of all to be lawful," the city statement read in its entirety.  When reached for clarification, neither Memphis Police Director Michael Rallings nor city attorney Bruce McMullen would offer any specifics about what the city's plans are for the protest.  A group calling itself the Memphis Coalition of Concerned Citizens announced plans Friday for a protest at the event.  The group, which has protested the killings of black people by police across the country, posted

Thousands from around the world flock to Memphis every year to visit his home and, on one night each year, to remember his death. The event may look different this year. "I love Elvis. I even respect Elvis, but I'm still going to push because my life matters." Frank Gottie is one of the organizers. He's one of the people hoping to be heard.  "People feel like it's the time for them to speak and people got emotions. " They're protesting a lack of accountability in deadly police shootings involving black people, a system of what they call continuing police oppression and low-paying, dead-end jobs.

Black Lives Matter Protesters promise to bring Memphis to a screeching halt Monday @ Graceland

Protesters say on Monday, they will try to bring Memphis to a screeching halt. Just as they did weeks ago on the I 40 Bridge. This time at Graceland on the night of the candle light vigil service when thousands of fans and tourists from around the world are there to pay respect to Elvis Presley. The incident that shut down the I-40 Bridge gave protesters more power than they've had in a long time. Protesters are hoping to recreate that on Monday at Graceland. Fox Memphis: Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland will now take their call and hear their demands for change. Former city councilman Myron Lowery looked at the list of seven focus areas put out by the Coalition of Concerned Citizens. The group met Thursday with Strickland about them. “The problem is that some of their requests were overly vague, too generalized, too broad and unachievable,” Lowery said. Lowry said some demands are achievable and it would only take the City a few days to hand over the dollars spent o

Debunking the myth Elvis Presley was a racist (VIDEO)

Image
This video talks about the 1957 article that was published which said Elvis was a racist. The magazine was called Sephia and was published by a WHITE MAN in Forth Worth, Texas. The magazine was a third rate copy of Ebony and Jet Magazine . The article was titled, What Negroes think about Elvis . It's in this article, that someone says Elvis said, All Negroes can do for me is buy my records and shine my shoes.  The person says Elvis said it in Boston . Problem is, at that time, Elvis had NEVER appeared in Boston!  Questions about the article lead Jet magazine to investigate. Jet Magazine, the leading magazine in the black community came to the conclusion that this was all BOGUS!  Despite Jet's findings, the story became an URBAN LEGEND.  Check out the video above for more details.
