Sonny Burgess of The Legendary Pacers passed away - Funeral Arrangements set for Thursday



Legendary Sun Records artist, Sonny Burgess passed away on the evening of Friday, August 18.

Sonny had been in the hospital since late July after taking a fall at his home in Little Rock, Arkansas.

His last gig was on July 15th, 2017. Sonny was the leader of The Pacers for over 62 years.

The band says they will keep rockin in his honor. Long Live Rock N Roll!



Please keep his family, band mates, and friends in your thoughts and prayers!

 Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the Silver Moon in Newport.

Did Linda Thompson cheat on Elvis Presley with his own band member?

Linda Thompson acknowledges that she was fully aware Elvis Presley was seeing other women during their time together. For years, there has been talk that Linda, herself stepped out on Elvis with his own band member. In her book, A Little Thing Called Life, Linda dances around the subject quite cleverly. Sheila Caan has lost her battle with Cancer, our thoughts and prayers go out to her family & friends. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal Sheila (Ryan) Caan dated Elvis Presley, went on to marry actor James Caan  with whom she has a son, Scott Caan, also an actor.
