Darlene Love ( Whitney Houston's godmother) told The Today Show that there is NO truth to the rumor that Bobby Kristina was missing or doing drugs Saturday night after Her mother's funeral. When questioned, she said, "That's not true! That's not true. She was with us. She was with the family. The burial was very emotional and the best thing about that burial, it was like a procession because the people they lined the streets and we looked out the windows of the car and they were crying. And it made Cissy and Krissy feel really, really good. Everyone is getting over yesterday. Now it's a closure. And now we have to go on with life because Whitney would have wanted that." Governor Chris Christie responds to critics of his order to lowering state flags in honor of Whitney Houston. Imelda appeared on Jay Leno on 1/31/12 and the first I asked friends was, is she pregnant? Well, today I say I told you so! Imelda released this statement: Imelda May and her husband Darrel Higham are very proud and delighted to announce that they are expecting their first child in August this year. Imelda says “I’m very happy, healthy and feeling great. I’m just over three months pregnant now and am enjoying every second. Darrel and I are over the moon!”

Aretha Franklin was interviewed by The Today Show's Al Roker this morning. She told Al how she will remember Whitney. " She had this little twinkle in her eye. She didn't just smile with her lips. She had this little twinkle in her eye. Something happened and I wrote a little something with that in mind. And that was, twinkle twinkle superstar we don't wonder where you are. Up above the world so bright, like a diamond in the night. Twinkle, twinkle she stood alone. I can't believe that she's gone."

The song speaks for itself, and Miss Cissy's tears just rip your heart open. She saw her amazing daughter come out of a toxic and controlling relationship to gain strength and work on her comeback. I wish for Whitney, Miss Cissy, and Bobby Kristina, that the media would stop guessing why Whitney's hair was wet after performing for 3 hours, why Whitney came in to say hello to Clive Davis after swimming with supposed "mismatched" clothes, and just wait until the officials tell us what happened. Let this family grieve. Bobby Kristina is an 18 year old girl who just lost her mom who was larger than life but also her best friend and her mom! Let's give this kid a break!

Geraldo Rivera talked about the death of Whitney Houston & her ex husband on his Fox News show Sunday night, "I am very harsh on my feelings on (Bobby Brown). I think that he threw (Whitney) off a cliff when they got together. That reality show they had, Being Bobby Brown, indicated how desperately dysfunctional they were." Rivera also comments on Whitney Houston & Bobby Brown's daughter saying, " She doesn't need her dad especially if unsupervised he'll probably give her something to make her feel better so she doesn't grieve . It's so awful. I hate to be mean but I really don't think very much of him at all. Bobby Brown was a member of New Edition and hasn't done anything Since but live off Whitney Houston 's millions."

Brown released a statement to Extra regarding the situation. "Today my daughter did visit with doctors at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. She has been released and is presently with my family, including her siblings," he said."Obviously the death of her mother is affecting her, however, we will get through this tragedy as a family. Again, I ask for privacy during this time."

TMZ released this photo of Bobby Brown at the airport in Nashville a few minutes ago. He is boarding a plane to LA after canceling show in Nashville tonight. It's terribly sad that Brown traveled 3 additional hours away from his daughter from Memphis to Nashville. He should have canceled his show and left Memphis immediately to be with his daughter Bobbi instead of considering performing in Nashville. Tonight. It took all day to finally decide after 5 pm to cancel. Bobbi Kristina needs our prayers more than ever. It won't be long now Brown will be shopping book deals & paid interviews. Bruce Springsteen is reportedly to open the Grammys show with his new song, “We Take Care Of Our Own.” Whitney Houston presented Springsteen with his Oscar for “Streets of Philadelphia” in 1994.

Cissy Houston has been described by neighbors as frail and quiet, and in seclusion in her new apartment on the 20th floor of a tower in Edgewater, N.J. A woman who answered the door asked for privacy, telling reporters Cissy Houston was hurting. “How would a mother who has lost her child be doing?” she said. Another woman, who was dropping off prescription medicine from CVS, said the mom was coping as best she could. “As you can imagine, she's managing,” the woman said. “She loves her daughter.”

Dolly Parton, who wrote "I Will Always Love You," which was one of Houston's greatest hits, said: "Mine is only one of the millions of hearts broken over the death of Whitney Houston. I will always be grateful and in awe of the wonderful performance she did on my song and I can truly say from the bottom of my heart, “Whitney, I will always love you. You will be missed.”

Rev. Jesse Jackson has just left church services at the Houston family church in Newark, NJ. Jackson who spoke with Cissy Houston last night says the family is devastated by their loss. Rev. Jackson is headed to Cissy Houston's home in Edgewater, NJ right now to be with Whitney's mother in this tragic time. On the west coast, Whitney's only child, Bobbi Kristina has been rushed to the hospital. She was taken on a stretcher from the Beverly Hilton where her mother died yesterday. No word where her father, Bobby Brown is. He performed in Southaven, Miss last night. And today he released a statement asking for privacy. Brown, you need to get on a plane and get to your child! She needs you! Please keep Whitney's family especially Bobbi Kristina & Cissy in your prayers!
