A sheet of Johnny Cash handwritten working lyrics for the song "We Remember The King." The lyrics written about Elvis Presley, read in part, "As the swift bird flies o'er the mountains / How we wish we were there at it's wing / Closer by far to a friend we have lost / We remember the king." At the conclusion, Cash adds a note for his assistant in pencil that reads, "Irene, please type these lyrics for me, J." Cash wrote this song for the 1986 project "Class of '55: Memphis Rock & Roll Homecoming," which featured Cash along with Carl Perkins, Roy Orbison and Jerry Lee Lewis. 11 by 8 1/2 inches
