Yesterday in the mail came the Elvis Presley Fan Club CD and special note from Priscilla & Lisa Marie. I have added their message here for all the fans to see. It's an upbeat and appreciative message! No doubt, Priscilla wrote it herself!

Dear Friends,
This has been a great year to be a fan of Elvis Presley! The launch of Viva Elvisnby Cirque du Soleil, the new Elvis exhibit at The Newsuem in Wahington, the celebration of "Elvis On Tour", and the recent release of Viva Elvis - The Album have been just a few ways fans around the world have celebrated Elvis' life and legacy.
2011 is certain to be another amazing year. As you know, it is the 55th anniversary of Elvis' first RCA single, first album, first movie and first television appearances. From the new exhibits at Graceland and on Elvis.com to special movie and music releases, there will be many ways for you to celebrate this special year with us.
Many of you have donated to the "Give Like The King" campaign to support Presley Place through the Elvis Presley Charitable Foundation and for that we are also very grateful.

Did Linda Thompson cheat on Elvis Presley with his own band member?

Linda Thompson acknowledges that she was fully aware Elvis Presley was seeing other women during their time together. For years, there has been talk that Linda, herself stepped out on Elvis with his own band member. In her book, A Little Thing Called Life, Linda dances around the subject quite cleverly. She acknowledges being sick and tired of watching Elvis sleep all day and the cheating. She talks about one day she finally left Elvis sleeping and went out during the day. It was then that she developed a friendship with Elvis' keyboard player, David Briggs. Linda admits to being attracted to David. But she says they did NOT start dating until AFTER Elvis and her relationship ended. Although through the years, others have said differently including David Briggs. Sheila Caan has passed away

Sheila Caan has lost her battle with Cancer, our thoughts and prayers go out to her family & friends. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal Sheila (Ryan) Caan dated Elvis Presley, went on to marry actor James Caan  with whom she has a son, Scott Caan, also an actor. Sheila & son Scott, you will be missed! Sheila fought a long battle with Cancer. And those of us who have parents who also fought the fight, know the pain.
