Tickets On Sale for "Elvis R8cks" Concerts in Europe

The Belgian and Dutch Elvis fan club 'ElvisMatters' is celebrating its 8th anniversary with a special live concert titled "Elvis R8cks." The production will feature members of the TCB Band, a symphonic orchestra, and the Dutch singer Bouke. The "Elvis R8cks" show is coming to Belgium on May 20, 2011 and Holland on May 21, 2011.

Roots of Elvis Exhibit Now Open
The Roots of Elvis Exhibit is now open! The exhibit, which is part of the Graceland VIP tour, tells the story of Elvis' early years and the influences that shaped him as a person and music legend. It is one of three new exhibits debuting at Graceland in 2011.

Elvis Music Featured in Japanese TV Commercial
Boys will be boys! That's the message behind a new Japanese TV commercial featuring the remix version of Elvis Presley's smash hit "A Little Less Conversation." The 30-second ad, from Atlanta-based The Coca-Cola Company Inc., is for its Georgia brand canned coffee.

Did Linda Thompson cheat on Elvis Presley with his own band member?

Linda Thompson acknowledges that she was fully aware Elvis Presley was seeing other women during their time together. For years, there has been talk that Linda, herself stepped out on Elvis with his own band member. In her book, A Little Thing Called Life, Linda dances around the subject quite cleverly. She acknowledges being sick and tired of watching Elvis sleep all day and the cheating. She talks about one day she finally left Elvis sleeping and went out during the day. It was then that she developed a friendship with Elvis' keyboard player, David Briggs. Linda admits to being attracted to David. But she says they did NOT start dating until AFTER Elvis and her relationship ended. Although through the years, others have said differently including David Briggs. Sheila Caan has lost her battle with Cancer, our thoughts and prayers go out to her family & friends. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal Sheila (Ryan) Caan dated Elvis Presley, went on to marry actor James Caan  with whom she has a son, Scott Caan, also an actor. Sheila & son Scott, you will be missed! Sheila fought a long battle with Cancer. And those of us who have parents who also fought the fight, know the pain.
