Priscilla Presley is NOT coming to Bayonne Today!


The Jersey Journal and NJ.com have been reporting that Priscilla Presley was coming to Bayonne today.
Their source is a so called cousin, Thomas Presley. The article goes on to say Ms. Presley is coming to speak about her "friend" local Elvis impersonator. It claims both Elvis himself & Priscilla were "friends" of the impersonator.Laughable.

The Jersey Journal was so bold as to put Priscilla on the cover of their paper this week. Having been involved in the Elvis world over 25 years, I made calls to family & friends of Elvis who verified they NEVER heard of a cousin named Thomas.

Secondly, I contacted sources directly connected to the estate & Ms. Presley who told me they know definitely Priscilla Presley will be ELSEWHERE today.

This is not anything new. We have been seeing people use Priscilla's name to promote themselves & their businesses in the last few years. It's a disgrace.

 Advice to "journalists" - FACT CHECK, VERIFY sources & CREDIBILITY! Contact Priscilla Presley or the estate, ASK if they KNOW the person, ask if the quotes are credible etc.

Advice to fans, just because someone TELLS you, issues a press release or produces a PHOTO with Priscilla DOES NOT mean they are her friend, know her or that she endorses or even knows about what they are doing! Unless, Priscilla or the estate says so. Anything either is involved with or believe in is promoted on THEIR OFFICIAL sites including social media. Do your homework! 

This kind of nonsense is damaging and very upsetting because Priscilla & Lisa Marie have been very open with the fans. They take photos and talk to each and every one of us in Memphis. With the rise of this kind of negative behavior since 2010, they may become more guarded and less accessible. And WE fans who love meeting them will suffer the most from this disgraceful behavior from others using the Presley name for personal gain.

It's this very behavior that happened a few years ago which opened my eyes that you know what? Elvis Presley Enterprises is NOT the big bad wolf. I understand how and WHY they PROTECT Elvis' name & likeness so carefully.

I am very sorry this has happened again to Priscilla.This time in the United States. It must be so difficult what their family must got through daily. And I am sorry to the fans who were expecting Priscilla today. With this heat wave, I hope fans do not travel long distance to see her. It's disgraceful the fans have been teased with this & disappointed.

I have been flooded with calls, emails, people coming by, stopping me on the street asking if I can introduce them to Priscilla today. Ain't gonna happen! Where is she staying The Hudson Plaza Motel?

There's more of a chance Elvis Presley himself shows up today in Bayonne! With that, we're off to the beach!

Did Linda Thompson cheat on Elvis Presley with his own band member?

Linda Thompson acknowledges that she was fully aware Elvis Presley was seeing other women during their time together. For years, there has been talk that Linda, herself stepped out on Elvis with his own band member. In her book, A Little Thing Called Life, Linda dances around the subject quite cleverly. Sheila Caan has lost her battle with Cancer, our thoughts and prayers go out to her family & friends. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal Sheila (Ryan) Caan dated Elvis Presley, went on to marry actor James Caan  with whom she has a son, Scott Caan, also an actor.
