Nic Cage talks Lisa Marie Presley and Scientology during his appearance on Howard Stern (AUDIO)



Check out this interview from the Howard Stern show. Nic Cage walks in and interrupts comedian Chris Rock's appearance.


This was Nic's first time on the show. This happened while he was just dating Lisa Marie Presley.


Nic's brother, Marc Coppola actually worked as a DJ at the same FM radio station as Howard, KROCK here in New York City in the late 80's and early 90's.


Fast Forward to 2:30 seconds when Nic walks in.


At 4:30, the Lisa talk starts,


Howard asks, What's with the Presley fascination?


Robin chimes in and says, you pretty much sound like the king. Nic says, I do? People tell me that. I don't know the h$ll that's about. it's just my natural voice.


Howard then asks if Nic ever brings up the Michael Jackson thing. Nic says, the only thing he heard about him was he is a very nice man. I'm not gonna badmouth Michael. Nic then says, you know what, when you get her on the show, you can ask her about Michael. And we all know about Lisa's appearances on Stern. She was open, honest and a great guest.


Now let me say, LONG before Nic started dating Lisa, we all heard what a huge Elvis fan and collector he was. And of course,  Lisa would be the ultimate collectable. But once he started dating her, he denied it. I lost respect for him for that. Be proud to be a fan of the king of Rock n Roll!


At 11:30, Robin asks Nic, and you don't have an Elvis fixation?


Nic says, NO! I think like most Americans, he's a great singer but fixation is not acqurate. Nic contiues to deny having an Elvis collection. He says, I'm not collecting the daughter although that's funny.


Howard goes on to admire how much Lisa looks like Elvis. Nic says Elvis was a very handsome man and she does have his best features but she also looks a lot like her mother.


Classic Howard then asks if Nic could ever make a mother daughter thing happen with Lisa and Priscilla. Nic was a complete gentleman.


At 15 minutes in, Robin asks Nic if he left Penelope Cruz for Lisa Marie Presley.


Nic pleads the fifth.!


Robin cuts in and says Nic took Penelope to Lisa Marie's birthday party.


At 18 minutes, Bababooey comes in and tells a story about Nic Cage allegedly getting abducted by Scientology and brought into a room and not let out for about 4 and a half hours.


What is Nic gonna say? At this point, he is seriously dating a major Scientologist, Lisa Marie!


Nic of course, denies this. Wonder what he'd say today?


Classic Howard then asks Nic, are you gonna get her off that kick or what?


Nic replies, No, no that works for her. He also says it helps her.


Howard then says, I can't wait til you break up with her so you can really tell us what's going on with the whole Scientology thing.


Nic says he's gotta head out. It's obvious he was very careful with his words not to offend Lisa.


Nic needs to come back on the show and let his guard down, I bet he'd be a fun guest on Stern.

Did Linda Thompson cheat on Elvis Presley with his own band member?

Linda Thompson acknowledges that she was fully aware Elvis Presley was seeing other women during their time together. For years, there has been talk that Linda, herself stepped out on Elvis with his own band member. In her book, A Little Thing Called Life, Linda dances around the subject quite cleverly.
