Elvis Presley's Manager Colonel Tom Parker's home dismantled (VIDEO)

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The historic home once owned by Elvis Presley’s manager is being taken apart piece by piece. Brian Oxley and his crew are working on the Madison home of Colonel Tom Parker. When he learned they wanted to put a car wash up, he knew people would want to keep the history of the home.

“I’ve told my team, we’re all archaeologists, ya know? This is fun, we’re looking for clues, we’re trying to match pictures with the knots on the doors, where Elvis may have stood, but I think the number one thing more than archaeologists,

I’m an anthropologist, which means I’m interested in people,” he told News 2. So crews are taking it apart and numbering every beam, floor board, and pine wall so it can be re-assembled somewhere else for a permanent Elvis Presley display. The famous singer would stay there when he was in Nashville.

BIM - In other words, get ready to pay BIG BUCKS for pieces of doors and walls that Elvis MAY have touched over forty years ago.

No one will want to re assemble the home of Elvis' manager.

When Elvis Presley's Hawaiian vacation home went up for sale, no one wanted to do this.

So why would anyone want to re assemble a home Elvis visited?

This will end up on ebay in little bits with homemade LOAs. We see that so often even with so called Elvis legit businesses.

Hey, if this floats your boat and you can grab a piece of Elvis history for a good price, good on you!

Many people get scammed by folks who claim to run authentic Elvis businesses.

Businesses that they assume are legit yet have lawsuits against them by the estate of Elvis Presley.  There are various reasons for that, folks. Beware!

At least here, you know for sure you are getting a piece of a house Elvis actually visited instead of a FAKE microphone or pairs of boots!

No disrespect to the guy dismantling the home. He is spending a lot of time and money into preserving history.

Hey, this is business. I hope you make your money back and then some!

At least fans will know what they are getting! A piece of history, FOR SURE!
