Lisa Marie Presley has a powerhouse celebrity attorney handling her divorce.
Ron Litz practices Family Law, Entertainment Law and Civil Litigation in Los Angeles, California.

His celebrity clients include Robert Redford, James Caan, Elton John, Peter Falk, Don Johnson, Vidal Sassoon, Jack Webb, Wayne Rodgers, Pauley Perrett, Leeza Gibbons, Mary Hart, and many prominent lawyers and judges.

Both his father and his daughter practiced law. Litz knew at the early age of 12, he wanted to be a lawyer.

Ron graduated from NYU.  Ronald Alan Litz was admitted to the California State Bar in 1966.
His first employer was renowned Entertainment attorney Bert Fields who represented George Lucas, Paramount Pictures, George Harrison, Warren Beatty, Steven Spielberg, John Travolta ( A Scientologist),  Dustin Hoffman and most famously Michael Jackson. He also represented Tom Cruise ( a Scientologist) in 2008. In 2012, he represented the estate of Mario Puzo to stop his son Vincent from publishing a new sequel to his father Mario's saga,The Godfather. What an amazing start to his career working for a legendary lawyer.

Litz is a Family Law expert, having handled quite a few high profiled divorces.


Litz represented actor Don Johnson in 2002. Don was driving with 8 billion in financial paperwork in a briefcase in his trunk on the border of Germany from Switzerland. It hit the US papers months later. Eventually, Don was cleared. Don is best known for his role in Miami Vice. But Elvis fans remember Don from his 1981 role in, Elvis and the beauty queen.

Lisa has a POWERHOUSE attorney behind her who is compassionate and his FIRST interest is the CHILDREN involved in the divorce. Litz represented Lisa Marie in her initial filing, She now has new representation.

 “They’re not trying to work it out and get back together,” Ronald Litz, the lawyer who represented Presley during her initial filing, told PEOPLE last year. “She’s done.”

Presley contended at the time that “there are some problems with him being a good father, in terms of what a father is supposed to do,” Litz said, adding that her request for full custody of the children seems warranted. “I absolutely believe that what we’re asking for is necessary.”  People Magazine.

We wish Lisa the best in her divorce and that she doesn't get stuck paying for the demands of her soon to be ex husband who wants to "Live in the lifestyle he has become accustomed".

Did Linda Thompson cheat on Elvis Presley with his own band member?

Linda Thompson acknowledges that she was fully aware Elvis Presley was seeing other women during their time together. For years, there has been talk that Linda, herself stepped out on Elvis with his own band member. In her book, A Little Thing Called Life, Linda dances around the subject quite cleverly. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal Sheila (Ryan) Caan dated Elvis Presley, went on to marry actor James Caan  with whom she has a son, Scott Caan, also an actor.
