Ben Keough, Grandson of Elvis and Priscilla Presley dead at 27 (UPDATED)

TMZ broke the news that Ben Keough died of an apparent suicide Sunday at the age of 27. He was the only son of Lisa Marie and only grandson of Elvis and Priscilla Presley.

 Keough's death is said to be a self inflicted gun shot wound.

The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department said officials responded to a “rescue response” call at about 6:30 a.m. Sunday on the 24800 block Alexandra Court in Calabasas. A man in his 20s was found shot to death on a Calabasas street Sunday.

(Update) 7/14 A rep for the L.A. County Medical Examiner-Coroner's Office tells TMZ Benjamin put a shotgun in his mouth ... and his manner of death is classified as suicide. The autopsy was completed Monday.

The Daily Mail reports that Police said they responded to a 'rescue response' call at about 6:30am Sunday, adding: 'Upon their arrival, they located the victim suffering from one gunshot wound to the upper torso.'

Keough had locked himself in a bathroom of the home with a shotgun. LA County Sheriff's Department deputies found Benjamin's lifeless body slumped on the toilet, similar the death of his famous grandfather, Elvis Presley.

Lisa Marie and family had not been staying at the home recently due to a mold problem.

Ben decided to return to the home that day.

'The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

An official could be seen outside the mansion Sunday while police and a coroner's vehicle parked nearby.

A source told The Sun: “Other family members were told early in the morning, it is shocking news but it also isn't a huge surprise as he had been struggling. Everyone is heartbroken and devastated.”

The Coroner's Office confirmed to The Sun toxicology results are pending.

According to The Sun, this is the coroner's van leaving the gated community Calabasas Park Estates where Benjamin Keough is believed to have taken his own life.

Lisa Marie's manager issued the following statement,

"She is completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated but trying to stay strong for her 11 year old twins and her oldest daughter Riley. She adored that boy. He was the love of her life."

"Lisa Marie is in disbelief," a source close to the family tells PEOPLE. "She doesn't want to believe that [Benjamin] is gone. She is heartbroken and won't stop crying."
