Megan, Barbara Eden, and Brian B Sorry to be the bearer of bad news folks! But Barbara Eden will NOT be attending Elvis Week 2012. We have officially confirmed this. Here is the statement, short and sweet, "Due to conflicting schedules Ms. Eden regrets she will be unable to attend Elvis Week." I had a suspicion this would happen. Call it an Elvis fan's intuition;) But rest assure fans, Barbara is a lovely woman who has nothing but great things to say about her work with Elvis. We had the chance to spend an afternoon with Barbara back in the fall where we spoke with her in depth about Elvis then and now. And we'll bring you that very soon! Beyond the Elvis connection, this is Jeannie! I Dream of Jeannie, a true American classic!

Barbara Eden, best known for her role in I Dream of Jeannie, and also as Elvis' co-star in Flaming Star will be a special guest at Elvis Week 2012. She will be on a panel of co-stars during Conversations on Elvis on August 12, 2012. More info on Elvis Week 2012 Coming soon - More with Barbara about working with Elvis Presley!

Actress Barbara Eden has a new book out titled, Jeannie Out of the Bottle. She is best known for her role in, I dream of Jeannie. But Elvis fans know her best for her role in Elvis Presley's film, Flaming Star. Barbara had this to say about working with Elvis, "He was a delight, a lovely guy. He was very well bred by his mother who had taught him manners. I'd walk on the set and he'd stand up immediately and pull a chair out for me. We laughed and flirted but it was tame, it was sweet. Years later I was with my second husband and we saw him in Vegas and Elvis said to him, 'How did you ever get with her? I tried!' I looked at him like, 'What? Come on,' but it was nice."

This past Halloween weekend's Chillerfest guest line up included Barbara Eden who co-starred with Elvis in Flaming Star. She is best known for I Dream Of Jeannie with Larry Hagman who also attended this year's Chillerfest here in NJ. Megan, Barbara Eden and Brian B.
