Mary Ann Mobley and Gary Collins We are very sad to hear of the passing of Gary Collins . Most Elvis Presley fans will know him best for being married to Mary Ann Mobley ( who co-starred with EP in Harum Scarum ). But Collins was an actor himself. And best known to all of us for different highlights in his career. For me, it was Hour Magazine .   Mobley and Collins had separated in 2011 but reconciled and he had moved to Mississippi to be with Mary Ann earlier this year. The couple had 1 daughter together, Mary Clancy Collins . Gary also had two children with his first wife, Susan Peterson, Gary William and Melissa. Gary Collins passed away of natural causes about 1 a.m. on October 13, 2012, at Biloxi Regional Medical Center. Our deepest condolences go out to Ms. Mobley and family. You're in our thoughts and prayers.

Barbara Eden, best known for her role in I Dream of Jeannie, and also as Elvis' co-star in Flaming Star will be a special guest at Elvis Week 2012. She will be on a panel of co-stars during Conversations on Elvis on August 12, 2012. More info on Elvis Week 2012 Coming soon - More with Barbara about working with Elvis Presley!

Actress Barbara Eden has a new book out titled, Jeannie Out of the Bottle. She is best known for her role in, I dream of Jeannie. But Elvis fans know her best for her role in Elvis Presley's film, Flaming Star. Barbara had this to say about working with Elvis, "He was a delight, a lovely guy. He was very well bred by his mother who had taught him manners. I'd walk on the set and he'd stand up immediately and pull a chair out for me. We laughed and flirted but it was tame, it was sweet. Years later I was with my second husband and we saw him in Vegas and Elvis said to him, 'How did you ever get with her? I tried!' I looked at him like, 'What? Come on,' but it was nice."

This past Halloween weekend's Chillerfest guest line up included Barbara Eden who co-starred with Elvis in Flaming Star. She is best known for I Dream Of Jeannie with Larry Hagman who also attended this year's Chillerfest here in NJ. Megan, Barbara Eden and Brian B. Barbara is a delightful woman with nothing but kind words and fond memories of Elvis. I'll bring you more on Barbara and her memories of Elvis. Source: Megan Murphy
