There will be a Cirque du Soleil news announcement today about its upcoming Michael Jackson arena show. Jamie King, the director of the show, and Chantal Tremblay, director of creation, will be talking to the Canadian press via teleconference tomorrow afternoon. The show is expected to begin a North American tour in December, 2011.
It has already been reported that the title of the 90-minute Jackson show featuring 72 performers will be The Immortal World Tour and that its production costs will be in the $200 million range.
After The Beatles (LOVE), Elvis Presley (Viva ELVIS) and now, Jackson, who will be the next to be immortalized by the Cirque du Soleil?
