Memphis Police Officer Timothy Warren Visitation Tonight

Memphis, Tn - Thursday evening a visitation for fallen police officer Timothy Warren will be held in Memphis. Before that, police officers from around the area will say goodbye in their own way.

Around 8:15 PM, dozens of Memphis police cars and cars from surrounding law enforcement agencies will leave the pyramid at Front and Auction with their blue lights flashing.

The route goes past the Doubletree Hotel where Officer Warren was shot and killed.

It also goes past the entertainment district unit, where Officer Warren was stationed. The procession is called a "sea of blue."

Memphis Police say law enforcement from Mississippi and Arkansas are also sending cars to participate tomorrow.

The visitation for Officer Warren will be held at Hope Church on Walnut Grove on Thursday night from 5:30 pm until 8pm.

His funeral will be at 10am on Friday, also at Hope Church. He will be buried in New Cleveland Cemetery in Cleveland, Mississippi immediately following the funeral.
