ABC's Nashville actor Chip Esten and his wife Patty Hanson attended the White House Correspondents' dinner on Saturday, May 3, 2014. Chip who plays the dreamy Deacon on Nashville is THE break out star of the show. More so than Connie Britton or even the lovely Hayden Panettiere. It's a shame that most publcity photos, CD and DVD covers feature only these women. Nashville is mostly watched by women and we watch for DEACON! I'd buy ANYTHING with a picture of Deacon on it;) 

Others who attended the event include Barbara Walters, Brad Paisley and wife Kimberly (who played Teddy's wife on Nashville), Duck Dynasty Willie Robertson, Katie Couric, Jessica Simpson and many more.

Did Linda Thompson cheat on Elvis Presley with his own band member?

Linda Thompson acknowledges that she was fully aware Elvis Presley was seeing other women during their time together. For years, there has been talk that Linda, herself stepped out on Elvis with his own band member. In her book, A Little Thing Called Life, Linda dances around the subject quite cleverly. She acknowledges being sick and tired of watching Elvis sleep all day and the cheating. She talks about one day she finally left Elvis sleeping and went out during the day. Sheila Caan has lost her battle with Cancer, our thoughts and prayers go out to her family & friends. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal Sheila (Ryan) Caan dated Elvis Presley, went on to marry actor James Caan  with whom she has a son, Scott Caan, also an actor. Sheila & son Scott, you will be missed! Sheila fought a long battle with Cancer. And those of us who have parents who also fought the fight, know the pain.
