Per AXS-TV, in round numbers: Plagued by drug addiction and a failing voice, the King is desperate to make things right with himself, his deceased brother and God. His attempts to get back on track are thwarted, however, after he helps the cops bring down a powerful crime syndicate — putting his family in danger and sending him on a journey that will change his life forever.
“When the decision was made to develop AXS TV’s first original made-for-TV movie, I knew I had to get The Asylum team involved because it was a great experience working with them on Sharknado 3,” Cuban said. “They’re the perfect fit to bring this wild ride to life as we celebrate the life and legacy of the the King’s reign, crafting a unique and original storyline that explores the well-known conspiracy theories and allows our viewers to form their own conclusions.”
The Asylum’s partners Paul Bales, David Michael Latt and David Rimawi will produce, along with David Garber. The Asylum also will handle worldwide sales on the film.

BIM - You know this is getting out of hand, No one makes fun of Jim Morrison's death, Jimi Hendrix and other rock n roll artists. Elvis Presley is EA$Y MONEY because he has THE VERY BEST FANS!
Let's hope half of these people are remembered 30 plus years after their deaths. Highly Doubtful! Fans wake up! Stop watching this crap. If it's offensive to Elvis Don't watch it, don't go to the movie, don't buy the DVD. Boycott the sponsors! We've done it before!

And again NOTHING new, much taken from previous movies and myths, so another play on the twin thing like the Dick Clark movie Elvis starring Kurt Russell. Come on, get creative. Been there, done that. Proves they know NOTHING about Elvis and don't care to either. SO why should we watch?
Notice how many movies and new TV shows are about Elvis or ETAs and so far NONE have been in a good light. Because Elvis Presley is FA$T and EA$Y Money. This is a new tv channel and this is their FIRST original movie (on Elvis' back). Let's not allow them to disrespect Elvis and use him to make their channel successful. Don't even get me going on the Sharknando aspect of this.
This doesn't happen to any other musical icon. Elvis Presley is LONG OVER DUE RESPECT by HOLLYWOOD and the MEDIA. COMPLETE CRAPOLA, if you ask me! Megan
