Job Fair @ Graceland, Memphis, TN this weekend

Graceland will hold a job fair to help find 125 to 150 workers for its new 450-room hotel.

Guesthouse at Graceland has scheduled a job fair and workshop Saturday and Monday open to the public.

In a statement today, the Memphis tourist attraction said positions it is filling include accounting, front office, housekeeping, engineering, culinary, restaurant and banquet jobs.

Applications made online at www.besthotelcareers.com by the end of the day Thursday will receive a scheduled interview time at the job fair and workshop and not have to wait in line. The sessions are scheduled 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days.

Graceland said computer terminals will be available on the site to apply online. The sessions will take place at the Elvis Week Main Event Tent, located behind the Lisa Marie airplane attraction. Graceland will provide free parking in a guest lot located at 3717 Elvis Presley Boulevard.

 Pyramid Hotel Group will manage the hotel, scheduled to open in October.

Did Linda Thompson cheat on Elvis Presley with his own band member?

Sheila Caan has passed away

Sheila Caan has lost her battle with Cancer, our thoughts and prayers go out to her family & friends. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal Sheila (Ryan) Caan dated Elvis Presley, went on to marry actor James Caan  with whom she has a son, Scott Caan, also an actor.
