Leo Sayer Singer/songwriter CLAIMS to have spoken to Elvis Presley just before his death but....
British-born singer-songwriter musician, and entertainer, Leo Sayer claims to have been the last person Elvis Presley spoke to.
But here is a few problems:
1. Huntsville to Memphis is NOT ACROSS the bridge, it is actually 3 hours and 39 minutes away.
2. He goes on to say Elvis called him that night and said come to the house tomorrow and we'll make music, How could that be since Elvis was going on tour that day?
3. Then he goes to talk about David Foster and his WIFE GINGER ALDEN, Elvis' last girlfriend and they wanted to have dinner with him, because GINGER wanted to tell him how much speaking to him meant to Elvis and that this guy was THE LAST to speak to Elvis. He says GINGER remembers Elvis going off to bed, and he says, of course the doctor came into it later on, but Elvis was saying, I'm going to see Leo tomorrow excited! What a load of Shite!
No wonder Lorraine on ITV has the comments disabled, they must know it's shite too.
What a LIAR! How sad!
I know the music business is hard but Don't use Elvis to promote yourself.
Sayer began his music career co writing songs with David Courtney, including "Giving It All Away", which gave Roger Daltrey of The Who his first solo hit in 1973. The same year, Sayer began his career as a recording artist under the management of Adam Faith, who signed Sayer to the Chrysalis label in the United Kingdom and Warner Bros. Records in the United States.
The peak of his career came in 1977, when he achieved two consecutive number one hits in the United States, first with the disco styled "You Make Me Feel Like Dancing" (a Grammy Award winner for the year's best Rhythm and Blues Song), followed by the romantic ballad, "When I Need You" (1977), which reached number one in both the United Kingdom and United States. Written by Albert Hammond and Carole Bayer Sager, it was Sayer's first #1 single in the United Kingdom (after three number two hits). While touring Memphis, in August of 1977, his knee faltered and he was taken to the hospital by a security guard who also worked for Elvis Presley. A couple of days later he and Presley made arrangements to meet, but on the day they had scheduled for Sayer to visit Presley at Graceland, Presley died. (From Wikipedia)
he also said he was listening to his recorder in the Morning, then it came over the news Elvis had died. How could he have heard that in the morning when Elvis did not died until the afternoon.
