Elvis Presley 1965 New Year's Eve Party Invitation with Envelope - SOLD




The invitation measures 6.25 inches by 5.35 inches and folds just below the middle.
It reads, "Elvis is having a New Year's eve party at the Manhatten Club (9PM til?) 1459 South Bellvue. It also notes B.Y.O.B. which means bring your own booze!

The envelope is still sealed as Paulette opened it at the side. She wrote in ink pen on the envelope, "file- New Year's Invite"
There also is a start of a Memphis phone number in ink, "901-"
Envelope is a business size measures 9 inches by 4.25 inches. It has clear Memphis Tenn, Dec 29, 1965 United States postal mark.

Elvis held his New year's eve parties at this club from 1964 to 1966.

Personally, I have NEVER seen one of these invitations EVER!

This is a SUPER RARE Elvis Presley item.

Did Linda Thompson cheat on Elvis Presley with his own band member?

Linda Thompson acknowledges that she was fully aware Elvis Presley was seeing other women during their time together. For years, there has been talk that Linda, herself stepped out on Elvis with his own band member. In her book, A Little Thing Called Life, Linda dances around the subject quite cleverly. Sheila Caan has passed away

Sheila Caan has lost her battle with Cancer, our thoughts and prayers go out to her family & friends. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal Sheila (Ryan) Caan dated Elvis Presley, went on to marry actor James Caan  with whom she has a son, Scott Caan, also an actor.
