Back in April, I told you about a rumor I heard from a very reliable source that there will be NO photographs of Elvis in the hotel. I was told the reason is, they would have to pay licensing fees to Joel to use Elvis' image.

Judging by the photos above, it looks like that rumor is sadly true. Not ONE photo of the King of Rock n Roll in the hotel lobby or the rooms.

The photos on the wall in the rooms are artwork of jumpsuits, HEADLESS Elvisish figures.

Let's hope the fans speak up and this changes. Elvis needs a presence at the hotel.

We have to stop allowing him to become a Mickey Mouse or Santa Claus character.

Elvis built this empire and the MAN deserves a presence in the hotel.

Did Linda Thompson cheat on Elvis Presley with his own band member?

Linda Thompson acknowledges that she was fully aware Elvis Presley was seeing other women during their time together. For years, there has been talk that Linda, herself stepped out on Elvis with his own band member. In her book, A Little Thing Called Life, Linda dances around the subject quite cleverly. She acknowledges being sick and tired of watching Elvis sleep all day and the cheating. She talks about one day she finally left Elvis sleeping and went out during the day. Sheila Caan has passed away

Sheila Caan has lost her battle with Cancer, our thoughts and prayers go out to her family & friends. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal Sheila (Ryan) Caan dated Elvis Presley, went on to marry actor James Caan  with whom she has a son, Scott Caan, also an actor. Sheila & son Scott, you will be missed! Sheila fought a long battle with Cancer. And those of us who have parents who also fought the fight, know the pain.
